Found something illegal, harmful, infringing or simply wrong? Tell us. We review every report and tell you what we decided.

Report illegal content

Email hello@zaubar.com with the subject "Content report" and include:

  1. where the content is: a link, or the story, walk, replay or profile name and the place;
  2. why you believe it is illegal, as precisely as you can;
  3. your name and email address (not needed if you report child sexual abuse material);
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations in your report are accurate and complete.

We confirm receipt, decide in a timely, careful and objective manner, and tell you our decision and your options to challenge it. If we remove or restrict content, we tell the person who posted it why. If we believe a criminal offence threatens someone's life or safety, we inform the authorities.

Report a mistake in a story

Email hello@zaubar.com with the subject "Story fix", the story name and what is wrong. A source helps us check it quickly.

Copyright notices (including the US DMCA)

If you believe content in Mini Locals infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent: Zaubar UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Copyright Agent, Nollendorfstraße 20, 10777 Berlin, Germany, email hello@zaubar.com, phone +49 176 45709672. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) the notice must include:

  1. a physical or electronic signature of the owner or of a person authorised to act for them;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  3. identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it;
  4. your contact information: address, phone number and email address;
  5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  6. a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner.

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with your signature, identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, outside the US, any judicial district in which we may be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the notice. Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can lead to liability for damages. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Your image or privacy

If you appear in content in Mini Locals, or your home or personal details do, and you want it removed, write to hello@zaubar.com with the subject "Privacy removal". We take these requests seriously and respond quickly.
