Privacy at Mini Locals
Mini Locals uses your location when you allow it. Here is what we do with data, what we don't do, and how you can check.
Our business model
How we make money
We earn money when you enjoy stories enough to buy a Ticket or a plan. We do not earn money from your data, so we have no reason to collect more than the stories need.
Made in Berlin, under the GDPR
Mini Locals is made by Zaubar UG (haftungsbeschränkt) in Berlin. Europe's data protection law applies to everything we do, and the Berlin data protection authority supervises us. We give the same protection to everyone, wherever you live.
Only what's needed
Start as a guest, without an email address. Your saved home area is rounded to about a kilometre. We ask only for what a feature needs.
Your voice
When you hold to ask, your voice is used only to answer you. We don't create voiceprints, keep recordings for training or train AI on your questions.
Payments
Your card details never reach us. Paddle, Google Play or the App Store handle payment; we only learn which plan you have.
AI
We say where AI is involved, keep machine-readable marks, and never put words into a real person's mouth.
Security
Encrypted connections everywhere, strict security settings on this website, pseudonymous IDs in our statistics, and careful providers bound by contract.

This website tracks nothing.
No cookies, no analytics, no ad pixels, no fonts from other companies. Open your browser's developer tools on any page of minilocals.com and look: the only things it loads come from us and from our video and image service.
