Open Mini Locals
On Android, on iPhone or in your browser. Start as a guest, or sign in with Google, Apple or your email address to keep your walks and purchases on every device.
Find a story
Stories about where you are come first. Allow location and Mini Locals finds what is around you. Prefer not to? Search any place by name, or wander the map.
Press play
Out and about, a walk leads you from stop to stop with directions in your ear, and each place's story starts as you arrive. At home, watch short videos about places nearby and far away.
Ask along the way
Wondering about something you see? Hold to ask, and the storyteller answers.
Keep it
When you finish a walk, it's saved with your route and photos. Play it back as a replay, and share the link with friends if you like.

Before you start
What you need
A phone or a browser
An Android phone, an iPhone, or a current browser on any computer.
Headphones
Recommended outside, at a volume where you still hear the street.
An internet connection
Stories stream, so you need mobile data or Wi-Fi. Videos use more data than audio.
Location, if you like
Only for stories nearby and walks. You can always search by hand instead.
Before you head out
Safety
Watch the traffic, respect private property and local rules, and treat directions as guidance, not orders.
